Install & Connect
Download the APK and install it on your Android phone. Open the app — it walks you through entering your API key and setting up a fingerprint or PIN lock. Done in under a minute.
Review Plays & Execute in Your Broker
The Plays tab shows ranked credit spreads the scanner found. Review the details — then open your brokerage app (Robinhood, Tastytrade, IBKR, etc.) and enter the trade yourself. Come back to tap Track Trade so Fortress monitors your position.
How to Use the App Daily
- → Pre-market (8–9:30 AM ET) — Open Plays to review overnight scan results. Decide which spreads interest you and prepare your brokerage app.
- → During market hours — Tap Scan to refresh. See a play you like? Go to your broker (Robinhood, Tastytrade, IBKR, etc.) and place the spread there. Plays update every 30 minutes.
- → After you place the trade in your broker — Come back to the app and tap Track Trade. Fortress then monitors that position and alerts you when to take profit or cut losses.
- → At close (3:45–4 PM ET) — Check the Alerts tab. If an exit signal fired, go to your broker and close the position.
When You Get Alerts

New high-score play found
Fired every 30 min during market hours (9:30 AM – 4 PM ET) when the scanner finds a play scoring 8/10 or higher.
Profit target hit — Take profit
Fires instantly when a tracked position reaches +20% return on max risk. Signal to close for a win.
Stop-loss triggered — Cut losses
Fires instantly when a position hits −10% of max risk. Protects you before losses compound.
Expiration warning
Reminder when a tracked position has 2 or fewer days until expiration.
No alerts outside market hours (Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET). You won't be woken up at 3 AM.
